Fix Capitalism Now!

Capitalism ignores the human suffering of those adversely impacted at the fringes.

For-profit entities, in an age of automation and artificial intelligence, should be taxed to provide Universal Healthcare, Free Education and Basic Income.

No one should have to work more than 40 hours a week to afford adequate housing, or go bankrupt because of an illness, and

No one should be without housing, or an opportunity to pursue education and training.

“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness,” as stated in the United States Declaration of Independence, provides three “unalienable rights,” which according to the Declaration have been given to all human beings by their Creator, and which governments are created to protect.

Where ‘Liberty’ has been abstracted into unlimited 2nd amendment rights and the largest military budget 10 times over any other country in the World, why doesn’t ‘Life’ and the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ mandate Universal Healthcare, Affordable Housing, Education and Basic Income as Human Rights!. The “Pursuit of Happiness” should not be afforded only by a mortgage and/or massive debt; effectively guaranteeing life long indentured servitude.

Universal Basic Income, Affordable Housing, Education and Healthcare are an appropriate response to capitalism in the era of technology, such as, artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, which continue to eliminate work for humans.
